Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long should the hair be?

The should be longer the a grain of rice. Our hair grows in three different cycles. If the hair is longer then a grain of rice you are more then likely to get all the hair. Sometimes it can take up to four waxes to get your all on one growth cycle and get the result you and I both want for you.

  • How does one prep for a wax?

H2O!!! Be hydrated that is so important not just for your wax but always! This helps hair pull out from the root instead of breaking. Exfoiling your body to help remove the dead skin the day before. I always suggest antibacterial soap and exfoiling mix or a finely milled sugar scrub. (not tree h*t) Mositurzing with non scented lotion for your wax once your first wax we will help you find a routine that best fits your skin condition.

  • What do I do after my wax?

Don't worry. In your appointment we will explain everything. We will even send you with a cheat sheet. but it's pretty similar to prep. water, exfoilating, moisture. after your appointment we will chat about what right for you and your skin goals.

  • What's the different between shaving and waxing?

Shaving cut the hair and blunt edge at the top layer of the skin as where waxing takes the hair from the root of the hair. When hair grows back from shaving, it's rough and scratchy. Hair growing back from waxing is a new hair. It will softer and look thinner.
